What can I use / dog will get short hair shedding leaves?
My son has a lab / mix pit. Lady has short blond hair and sheds A LOT, all the time. Home is burgandy carpet and let the show that you take cover. He brushes her everyday, keeps it clean and it is high nutrition dog food line. This is really a problem. I see there are shampoos out there but they really work? Also while browsing the on-line to say a prodct called Furminator "a tool deshedding, softens to reduce by 90%. Anyone try this? Thanks for your advice and please, those of you who just want to give BS answers keep em.
Of course, you can not really stop a dog from shedding, but a good grooming tool is your best bet to cut it. I have the Furminator and it has taken a lot of dead fur. I've tried with cats My, but that they hated it, although I know some people with dogs who love it, definitely worth a try.
