Another question Peeing outside the box. Is he sick?
I have several of 2 yr old indoor waste trained cats. I saw one in the immediate Peeing near the litter box, and the floor. It doesn't appear to be in pain, no problem Peeing without visible blood in pee. Also, someone has been Peeing in the plant, which is close the box. I'll get pot and clean the floor and to remove of smell. rarely see them drink water, although they have a pet fountain, but they eat wet food which can only add a little water to produce it's hot here lately. Just give them small bowl of water with a little taste of cat juice food and wee floor cat drank it ALL & Sister too. Finally my question: Can be dehydrated and she must Today went to the vet or to wait if it can not drink more water. This not a matter of jargon allow VET 2 litter boxes, very, very clean. Never I have not had this problem before in 2 years
I'll see a veterinarian as is possible. Your "thirsty" Kitty is very young to have renal disease, but excessive drinking is a symptom it (and diabetes), and sometimes kidney disease is inherited, so they will want to know as soon as possible. Dietary changes would be required as and some other stuff if this is the problem. Three options for Peeing / drinking in descending order in order of importance: 1. A one-time accident left smell of urine in the area. The cat has an infection Urinary tract infection - a major symptom is outside Peeing field. Urinary tract infections may be diagnosed by your veterinarian doctor.
